Windows 11 pool of computers

Is it possible for me to create a pool of Windows 11 computers, enable RDP on them, and have a client access that pool? That client would have to check if there are any available computers in the pool and direct user access to that computer. I'm not talking about RD/S. The computers would be Windows 11 and not Windows Server.

To create a pool of Windows 11 computers with RDP, you can use a service like Azure Virtual Desktop, which is a desktop and app virtualization service that runs on the cloud.

You can create a personal host pool, which assigns a dedicated session host VM to each user.

Users can access their session using a Remote Desktop client or a web browser.

The solution I'm looking for is on-premises and not in Azure.

what about setting up Microsoft Hyper-V on your on-premises server? It will allow you to create and manage virtual machines, and enable RDP on each VM.

There is no possibility to use virtual machines. We use GPU-intensive engineering software, so we have 10/15 workstations configured for that performance. But we have 100/150 people who use these stations every day. Hence the need to manage RDP, as users connect to these stations with a single user and not with their default user. So when a person is using one of these workstations and another tries to access the same workstation, the connection is dropped and handed over to the new user. And these engineering software are not compatible with Windows server. Because if they were a solution would be to use the RDS service.
