Create a distinct tenant for Azure

I have an existing tenant for a customer that has been created with a company domain email : ******@company.com

My customer want a new tenant for managing a separated product (azure app, storage) independently of his own infractructure. He doesn't want to create a separated subscription in the same tenant.

After, reading and looking around it's look like i can't create another with a email of the same company.

I could create and register a new domain with a email adress and than create a tenant.

I'm wondering if someone has found other possibilities or solutions?

Can you explain why a new tenant is a better option that a new subscription?

If indeed a new tenant is the right answer, then it will need to be on a different domain. After setting it up, you will be able to invite ******@company.com as a guest into the new domain to save dealing with multiple passwords etc - however I'd be surprised if this was really needed.

In that case is that the customer have an web application (with app service, storage, sql azure) and want to be owner of the application and in case of selling this application he want to transfert the ownership more easily.

I will than take a look a new domain email adress.

If there is a way to transfert subscription and all the azure services and data to another tenant was implemented by azure i will probably not need this and just need to add a subscription.
