Unable to move UserForm in coding window from top LH corner.

I have been playing with User forms in VBA Excel. This morning I created a new form as I acidentally deleted the old one from earlier, and it appeared at the top left of the window. I am unable to move it, although I can change properties such as Name, Caption and size, but it will not allow me to move it. Changing left and top from 0 and it still doesn't move. The "X to close it doesn't work either. I can remove it and start again, but the same thing happens. Resizing the coding window also takes the form with it. I can resize and put controls in it, but even after closing and deleting the sheet it's on, it happens the next time I open it. I am sure yetserday I could move the form in the coding window - or am I mistaken, and the top and left properties only work at Run time?

Viorel 121.3K Reputation points2023-08-18T14:02:01.7033333+00:00 I think that the form can be moved after starting in VBA with Run menu or <F5>. Select (click) the form before starting. In design mode it cannot be moved, but you can move the controls that are placed inside the form.
To use the Left and Top properties at runtime, set the StartUpPosition to “0 - Manual”.

2023-08-21T10:25:38+00:00 I was mistaken in assuming I could move it from the top left, as the properties of the form only apply when the form is run.
