The PDF file is useful however if you are looking from a policy perspective then please refer to this document-
Complete list of all defender applications and modules
I am trying to create a report of all Defender functionality currently in use at our organization.
The Microsoft 365 E5 page has a link to a Full comparison (PDF) that enumerates a fairly extensive list.
Does anyone know of a definitive list, or is that licensing comparison document the best option?
Thanks.

- Enumerating all the Defender modules
- Correlating those to licensing plans (shown in the pdf link I posted)
For example, where does Microsoft Defender EASM (External Attack Surface Management) or Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management fit into the major categories?
I think the major categories are:
- Microsoft Defender for Identity
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
But I don't even see a Microsoft Defender for Cloud plan in that PDF from the original post.
