Cost report does not match storage account redundancy

An Azure storage account was changed from RA-GRS to LRS several weeks ago. On the "storage account > Data management > Redundancy" page the redundancy shows as LRS which reflects the change.

However, on the Cost Analysis report, the most recent daily activity still shows RA-GRS operations and storage being used for that account but I was expecting to be billed for LRS operations and storage. It's as if the change did not take effect. What else do I need to do to ensure I am only billed for LRS storage?

    Hi Matt Hooper

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

RA-GRS to LRS replication change will take 30 days' time to reflect in your billing.

Reference (Please review the FAQs): https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/storage/blobs/User's image

And here are the charges that incurred when you change a storage account replication from LRS to RA-GRSUser's image

In case you have changed the replication 30 days ago and still billed for RA-GRS, I would recommend contacting Azure Billing Team, Billing and Subscription team would be the best to provide more insight and guidance on this scenario: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/options/ (it's free support. )
