Azure VM Desktop Deployment Failure

Received the following error after going through the "Azure Virtual Desktop Getting Started" wizard. The deployment did not complete:

"The resource write operation failed to complete successfully, because it reached terminal provisioning state 'Failed'. (Code: ResourceDeploymentFailure, Target: /subscriptions/7937229d-28be-4f23-a43c-25b341cfd36d/resourceGroups/scm1-deployment/providers/Microsoft.Resources/deployments/easy-button-inputvalidation-job-linked-template)"

    Hi

    are you trying to deploy Pooled (multi-user) or Personal (single-user) host pools?

    I've seen this happen before where you need to deploy the Host Pool only, set the RDP Settings up and then deploy the Session Hosts afterwards. Guides here may be helpful:
