My computer auto reboot while playing certain games (not all games have this problem).

I want to know what is the main problem of this.

I have checked the Event Viewer, maybe the following log is useful:

Error: Event ID 18

A fatal hardware error has occurred. Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor APIC ID: 28

    Hello

The error you’re experiencing, “A fatal hardware error has occurred. Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor APIC ID: 28”, is a WHEA Logger Event ID 18 error. This error is typically associated with hardware issues, particularly with the processor.

Here are some potential causes and solutions:

Hardware Compatibility: Ensure that all your hardware components are compatible with each other and your operating system.

Driver Updates: Make sure all your drivers, especially your graphics card and chipset drivers, are up to date.

BIOS Settings: Check if your BIOS settings are at default. If you have enabled XMP or PBO, try turning them off.

Memory Issues: Memory problems often cause machine restarts. You could try running a memory test to check for errors.

Power Supply: Insufficient power supply can cause random restarts, especially when running high-performance applications like games.

Overheating: Overheating can cause your system to reboot to protect itself. Monitor your system’s temperature to rule out this possibility.

If none of the above solutions work, it might be a good idea to seek professional help or contact your hardware manufacturer’s customer support. Please remember that troubleshooting hardware issues can be complex and might require technical expertise.
