MacOS unable search files on mapped Azure Files

The backstory is that we have a number of old NAS boxes sat under people’s desks and the plan is to upload the contents to Azure File Shares and then decommission the boxes with a view to never having anything like that lying around again. Our users use a mixture of MacOS, Windows and Linux devices…
The issue we’re experiencing is that whilst MacOS devices can map to the File Share and access all the data stored within, they cannot search for files or folders in the share. Apparently, this is due to the way MacOS relies on a local search index which doesn't function over a mapped drive.
Above is from my customer. Any guidance on how to resolve this issue?

2023-09-12T08:06:06.2566667+00:00 @Sumarigo-MSFT , The customer has implemented Azure Files and using File Sync on premises. They are having issues with the MacOS that is unable to perform file search on the mounted file share and it's affecting just the MacOS users. I hope it's clearer now
