Migrate to the Authentication methods policy in Azure Active Directory by 30 September 2024

I received an email that I had to migrate to the authentication methods policy in the azure directory. I have very little technical experience, so the instructions made no sense to me.

I only use the Microsoft 365 portal. Does this migration have anything to do with the portal? Will it affect the portal if I do not take any action?

The methods are in the Azure portal. If you dont migate by the end date in 2024 then they will probably be migrated automatically for you and you may encounter some surprises. I would logon to the Azure portal and poke around to understand what needs to be done and migrate at your own pace with the ability to rollback.

You can also open a ticket with support and have them walk you through it now before everyone calls support with the same questions :)
