Windows 10: use windows hello for two separate Microsoft accounts business

Good morning,

I have 2 Microsoft 365 Business Standard license users. After installing Windows 10 (but also with version 11) with a local administrator account, I set up access for a user in an organization with their corporate Microsoft account. Once the profile (and PIN) is set up, if I log out and log back in, I can enter the PIN.

I add a second corporate user with their own Microsoft account. Once the user is configured, I set a PIN for it too. I log out and log back in with the first Microsoft user, I try to enter the PIN and it doesn't work (I have to enter the Microsoft account password again). Ditto for the second user if I log in with the first and then log out.

How can I use the PIN for both corporate users?

Thanks for any advice.

    Hello there,

Multiple accounts, yes, but shared accounts no It will not work with Windows Hello.

You cannot have more than one person associated with Windows Hello on a single account.

    Are you using Roaming Profiles?

A roaming user profile redirects user profiles to a file share so that users receive the same operating system and application settings on multiple computers.

Have you checked the Event Viewer for any trace?

If you cannot find anything in Event Viewer I would suggest you use tools like Procmon to find the root cause for this behaviour.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
