Dear enginees:
there is a server whose version is Windows Server 2016 Esentials in our company.We installed a software on it as a software server. We don't need its domain controler function beacause we have two domain server in out company net and their version is Windows server standard 2012R2.
Now the problem is the Esentials server forces us to configure the windows server esentials founction when we login in the server everytime.The trouble is it forbid our lacal administrator accout if we ignore it, and it shutdown our server automaticly after some days.
My treatment is updating Windows Server Standard 2016 from Windows Server Esentials 2016. We did it,but
the problem existed.
How to handle this problem ?

Those two appear unrelated. Second one looks like Siemens PLC software.

Did you clean install it or convert it? You could check the current edition

No clue as we cannot read it.
Yes，the powershell command result show it succeed to update to windows server standard 2016.But if I restart the server,the window of the configuring windows server essentials pops out. I don't kown it should not shutdow my server next time，
Try from Server Manager to remove the essentials experience.

Might also check the Run key here for an essentials wizard you can delete.
