Are there any best practices or tools that you recommend for automating tasks such as scaling, monitoring, and optimizing Power BI Embedded capacities to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost savings? To automate Power BI Embedded capacity management, Microsoft provides the Power BI Capacity Load Assessment Tool for automating load testing for Power BI Embedded analytics capacities. Also, you can use PowerShell and Azure Automation runbook. Microsoft provides a PowerShell script capacity scale-up sample that demonstrates how to use the Capacities Update API to scale the capacity SKU up or down. You can also use Monitor alerts to track Power BI Embedded capacity metrics and configure the alerts to trigger a script run that scales the capacity up or down based on specified values. To optimize performance and resource consumption, follow the guidelines in the Optimization guide for Power BI and Best practices for faster performance in Power BI embedded analytics.
