When I create a new Microsoft 365 group in Azure, a new SP site is created. Is it possible to disable that feature?

I would like to create M365 group without a sharepoint site. Can it be disabled ?

    No, there is no way currently to control which workloads of a Microsoft 365 Group are provisioned. If you don't need the "SharePoint" part, consider using a "traditional" Distribution group or shared mailbox instead.
