How does Azure Hybrid Benefit (AHB) work on Windows Server VM Scale Sets?
For Windows Server, you can apply AHB to a VM Scale Set:
You can also apply Azure Hybrid Benefit for Windows Server on virtual machine scale set as well.
Consumed Cores per Virtual Machine Scale Sets are measured however the usual minimum of 8 cores still applies. This becomes a bit clearer when we look at a recent AHB management blog with a VMSS example:
Here you can see where AHB is and is not enabled, as well as lower priority that is given to VMSS with fewer than 8 cores:
