MS Teams External Users interacting with host app bot

Hello,

Is it possible to block a bot associated with an app pinned for the host org from interacting with external users?

CASE
We have a few channels dedicated to external users in our Teams environment, and we recently launched (pinned) an internal app for our org to use. This app has a bot that interacts with our internal team, and it became known that the bot also engages with our external users. The app isn't pinned or available for our external users, so we were a bit surprised by the bot interacting with them when they switched to our tenant within Teams. Is it possible to stop this interaction from our end?

    Hi @Shawn Gittens

Did you add these external users as guest users?

If so, according to the documentation: After a bot is added, bots and guests can communicate with each other.

To avoid guests from accessing bots, you can create more app setup policies, assign them to internal users, and add bots with the custom policies.

Pin the app to internal users' Teams but not to external users' Teams.
