Hello everyone. I'm currently researching about signing my application with a CA-signed certificate, and I found the following note in the Microsoft documentation:

"If you're publishing your app in Microsoft Store, your app will be signed with a trusted certificate for you. This allows the user to install and run your app without installing the associated app signing certificate."

So, my question would be, my package that was associated with the Microsoft Store, what kind of certificate should it end up with?

should have a CA-signed certificate? or will continue with a self-signed certificate?

It is possible to use a CA-signed certificate for my app that will be published in the Microsoft Store?

    Hi @Ariel Ortega ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

App published in the MS Store will be signed only with Microsoft's certificates. You cannot use your own certificate to publish an app in the store.

    Thank you.
