Techspec reference number :ED.1.2.59.4
We set the recommended value in March and confirmed that there were no issues after restarting the system.
But last month, it changed back to its original value before the modification.
Really strange. Do you know the reasons for it?

    Hello,

OSR Values should not return by themselves to defaults. In case you have noticed a rollback into changes for OSR settings on the registry, this could be related to:

    • Applied GPO: Check with GPRESULT if there is any GPO that could be affecting the server on the Policy path: "Administrative Templates" > "Network" > "Network Connections" or similar locations for network-related settings.
    • A System Restore or Backup restoration may have been applied to the server
    • Check your permissions: There are some situations that the user perfoming the changes may have enough permissions to change the settings but not to store them in the registry. For instance by running Powershell cmdlets to change the settings. This volatile settings will be restablished in a later reboot of the server.
