Hi,

We have a hybrid setup with AAD Connect. We have an old Exchange 2010 server that's used only for updating attributes. We are now looking to decommission this server, and move management to a server with Exchange 2019 management tools instead. Only Exchange 2013 and 2016 are mentioned as upgrade paths when installing the 2019 management tools here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/Exchange/manage-hybrid-exchange-recipients-with-management-tools

Does this mean that we have to upgrade our Exchange 2010 server to 2016 before moving to the 2019 management tools?

Thanks

Tom Are

    Hi @Tom Are Tørum
Yes. In theory, you should first upgrade exchange2010 in the hybrid environment to 2013 or 2016, because exchange2010 does not support coexistence with exchange2019.
