Microsoft 365 keeps Ask Password Prompt

Hi,

We use Microsoft 365 business apps and have over 150 on-premises systems that are Joined in Active Directory Domain. The majority of systems require a password every time they are rebooted. It started a few days ago, and it happened repeatedly. when the user turns off or reboots the machine.

The Below Steps we already taken, But still the issue persist

  1. Installed Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to identify the root cause, but the tool indicates that everything is functioning normally, based on the following blog suggestion we have already done all the tests (About the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant - Microsoft Support).   2. Disconnect Microsoft Account From Office Apps and Rejoined
  3. Clear Cached Passwords from Credential Manager
  4. Add registry key AlwaysUseMSOAuthForAutoDiscover for the below path

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Exchange

  1. Checked Outlook Connection Status, and it looks fine. See the below Snip

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Password.

    Please ensure that if there is no no group policies set that enforce password changes on every reboot.

    Also Check the each affected machine, run secpol.msc to access the Local Security Policy. Check for any policies related to password changes on reboot.

    Verify if there have been any changes in password expiration settings recently.

    Also have a look on Event Viewer logs that might provide more information

    and check if there is any malware on the main server.?

    Determine if there have been any recent updates or software installations that might be causing this behavior. .?
