Failed to install MP

Question

I upgrade my SCCM to 2303 recently, I found I cannot install the MP successfully after the in-place upgrade.

The error is:

Site Component Manager could not copy file "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Client\x64\md4ws.msi" to "MPname\D$\SMS\Client\x64\md4ws.msi".

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

If you do not have the file md4es.msi under "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\CMUClient\x64", you may copy the file from "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Client\x64"
