what has happened to all the FOLDER features and options in New Outlook?

I was prompted by Outlook to view the "new" outlook today so I clicked on the toggle, which closed my Outlook and reopened in the new view (Desktop app).. All of my carefully sorted and prioritized folders were now streamlined into alphabetical order, with no way to rearrange them. One attempt had me move one folder into another (subfolder) but couldn't place it below, or above.

The FOLDER Ribbon is no longer featured (no tab) and right-clicking on any folder does not provide any of the shortcuts I regularly use, such as properties.

This is like going back to prior Windows 98. And a game changer for me if the folder features are downgraded. Seriously? I thought Microsoft was about productivity? This new outlook is not impressive so far!

Currently, the folder sorting function is not supported in New Outlook.

Please understand that New Outlook is in preview, and many features have not yet been designed. For your experience, we recommend that you switch back to classic Outlook. Thanks for your feedback!

Also, I searched the official feedback portal and noticed a similar idea, the Outlook team has marked the item as ''We're considering this''. Please be patient and wait for the update of New Outlook. If you have any suggestions or ideas, it's suggested that you could post here. Hope Microsoft will notice this in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support!
