How to move a VM between regions.

The Resource Mover thing seems unable to do it reporting some security problem / error.

Now what to do? The Wizard totally messed up my VM by moving the dependencies and now can not move the VM itself.

    Azure Resource Mover, is the recommended way to migrate Virtual Machines between Regions. It uses Azure Site Recovery under the hood.

    You do need to move and set some of the dependencies first, such as Resource Group etc.

    But because its using Azure Site Recovery, you can view the Site Recovery job for more information:

    1. Log on to the Azure portal.
    2. Select Recovery Services vaults.
    3. Select the vault that hosts your ASR data.
    4. Select Site Recovery jobs.
