We are trying to "Add Domain Name Extensions" in Azure Cloud Service (Classic), but it's not successful. The following error is displayed: Error Code: DomainNameExtensionCreateOperationFailed Message: 'Exceeded the quota for the hosted service for the resource type 'Extension'. The quota for the resource type 'Extension' per hosted service is 500.' I can't find how to solve this error. Please advice my question.

I understand the specifications of Azure Cloud Service now.

However, I have encountered an issue that I cannot resolve, and I couldn't find a way to delete the unnecessary extensions.

I tried entering the command "Remove-AzureServiceExtension" to delete extensions using Azure Cloud Shell, but I received an error indicating that such a command does not exist, and I'm having trouble removing them.

Could you please provide me with a specific solution if one exists?

雅文中山- Glad i was able to help provide the details of azure cloud service specifications.

If you are using CLI, please find the below command to delete the extensions that you no longer need:

az vm extension list --resource-group <resource-group-name> --vm-name <vm-name>

Replace <resource-group-name> with the name of the resource group that contains the Cloud Service (Classic) hosted service and <vm-name> with the name of the virtual machine that the extension is installed on.

az vm extension delete --resource-group <resource-group-name> --vm-name <vm-name> --name <extension-name>

Thank you for your response.

However, we are not using VM machines and are deploying and using the service directly on Azure Cloud Service (Classic).

Is it not possible to delete the extensions as per the specifications?
