We are trying to "Add Domain Name Extensions" in Azure Cloud Service (Classic), but it's not successful.

The following error is displayed:

Error Code: DomainNameExtensionCreateOperationFailed

Message: 'Exceeded the quota for the hosted service for the resource type 'Extension'. The quota for the resource type 'Extension' per hosted service is 500.'

I can't find how to solve this error.

Please advice my question.

@雅文 中山 - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out to us.

The error indicates that you have exceeded the quota for the number of extensions that can be added to a Cloud Service (Classic) hosted service. The quota for the resource type 'Extension' per hosted service is 500, and you have reached this limit.

To resolve this issue, you can either remove some of the existing extensions that you no longer need, or you can request a quota increase for the 'Extension' resource type.

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
