A while back I upgraded my hard drive to 1TB and upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Ever since that, my laptop is extremely slow. I reinstalled Windows 11 like 6-7 times (upgrade, clean installs, etc.). Nothing works. When I try launching games (like Fortnite) I either get a blue screen or time out as it cant even load up. Rarely I manage to start a game and it is extremely laggy.

Processor: i7-8650U 1.90 GHz (4.20 GHz)

RAM: 24gb

Hard Drive: 1TB

Internet Speed: 100/100 mbps

How do I even begin diagnosing what is causing this? Appreciate any suggestions.

Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.

Visit your device's manufacturer website and download and install the latest driver from there (if any).

Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.

Try uninstall your Graphic Card driver and restart your PC and run Windows Update to get the update from the Windows Update.

Try performing Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?

    Have a look at:

If not, enable services one by one to see which one causing the problem.
