How do I find where OneNote stores it's files locally?

We've had a change in domain, which has somehow caused OneNote and/or OneNote for Business (I don't know which), to stop storing data in OneDrive. Now it stores data locally on my PC. That has started to cause me problems, because I cannot get to some of the notes I've saved previously. When I click on a link I've said that goes to an area in Azure, OneNote complains telling me that:

Sorry, opening locally stored section files are not supported. Please upload your notes to OneDrive and then open them there.

Gladly I would do this. Only I have no idea where in heck OneNote is storing them on my PC, nor do I have any idea what they're called/named. Where are OneNote notebooks stored locally? What are they called?

    Hi,

As default the OneNote local location is:

    C:\Users<User Name>\Documents\OneNote Notebooks
