when i try to upgrade AD Connect to the latest ver. i'm facing this error message

upgrade cannot proceed because the azure active directory connector is missing
(b891884f-051e-4a83-95af-2544101c9083)

    @Sameh Mohamed Atya Aglan Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand you are trying to upgrade Azure AD Connect to the latest version, during the process you encountered this error b891884f-051e-4a83-95af-2544101c9083, does not exist in the current Azure AD Connect configuration.

    Could provide more details on this error ? was the OS upgrade performed on the same server ?

    Help me with the environment details like OS version ? Azure AD Connect version ?
