Users being forced into Outlook for Windows and I"m pissed

So suddenly users are telling me they got a new outlook that is Outlook for windows 1.2023.92 and I am very upset that a)I didn't know this was coming b)MS just pushed this out c) it doesn't work correctly.

My users use a large amount of shared mailbox, it isn't unusual for a user to have 10 or 12 shared boxes that they have to manage. Well the new Outlook doesn't seem to accommodate this. Instead they need to authenticate with MS and these boxes don't have a password so they are stuck.

We have only recently taken the plunge into MS365/Intune world and so far I am not enjoying the experience.

Why MS do you suck this much.

    Hi @David Kafrissen ,

    From the description, seems like your users are having issues using shared mailboxes after switching to New Outlook. Given this situation, you can ask the affected users to manually toggle off the Try the new Outlook:

    Meanwhile, you can also disable employee access to the new Outlook for Windows by following the article below:
