Office problems on 2019 RDS
Hello,
I have multiple servers running WS2019 with RDS (not in a farm), and I am experiencing issues with Office and the system intermittently on several of them. When these issues arise, users experience problems with OneDrive, such as poor performance or inability to connect, and with Outlook, for instance, IMAP account synchronization gets stuck without showing any error messages. When I create a new user and initiate their session, I can't configure the Office license.
I'm aware of these user issues because when I try to log in with my domain admin account, I'm presented with a black screen and nothing progresses. The Task Scheduler opens but becomes unresponsive when clicking on "Microsoft" in the tree view. However, I can log in without any issue using the local admin account. I don’t see anything unusual in the Event Viewer. Running SFC /scannow doesn’t show any issues. Office, OneDrive, and the system are all up to date. I don’t believe I’ve made any particular changes in AD related to this. The only thing I have in common in the Event Viewer across several servers that had the issue is an Event ID 2, and in the description, I always have the same error code 0XC000022.
Restarting the server seems to resolve the issues temporarily.
One user has noticed that the problem tends to occur when they try to work on photos on the server that are still in the process of uploading from the local workstation.
Thank you for your attention. Do you have any suggestions? My primary goal is to find a way to resolve these issues without having to restart the server. After that, I would like to find a permanent solution to prevent these issues entirely.
