Microsoft Intune Plan 1

Question

Hi team,

Can we assign Microsoft Intune Plan 1 to a device not to a user, if yes, can i please have the steps on how to assign Microsoft Intune Plan 1 to a computer?

If not, which license do we need to buy to assign it to Windows computers?

Agree with Rahul, for the devices enrolled with the following methods, we need device licenses.

• Windows Autopilot Self-Deploying mode
• Apple Device Enrollment Program without user affinity
• Apple School Manager without user affinity
• Apple Configurator without user affinity
• Android Enterprise dedicated
• Using a device enrollment manager account
