Work item unable to open from Azure Extention using VSS web extention SDK

Hi,
We are using AzureDevOps web-extention API (https://github.com/microsoft/vss-web-extension-sdk) to open a work item. It is working fine on most of the systems/browsers/networks/servers. But somehow, it is failing in only one network and throws below exception:
Below is our code. We have verified the work item id we are passing is correct and it does exists.
Exception occurs as soon as "openWorkItem" method is called. Please help us to identify the issue.
