SQL Server 2019 Express Edition fail to download

Question

Hello,

I have an issue downloading the SQL Server 2019 Express Edition on my computer. I always have the following error message: Exit Code: -2147467259Error description: Unknown error (0xe0000235). I have tried restarting my computer, uninstall and install it again but nothing works. I have also tried downloading SQL Server 2022 Express Edition and the same message comes up. For reference, I have a Microsoft Surface Pro X with Windows 11 Family.

I found this in the log:

Le service spécifié n'existe pas en tant que service installé.

Or in English:

The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

It seems to happen with something that is related to the Browser service, but if this the "specified service", I don't know.

You Summary.txt indicates that your OS language is English. I assume that you attempted to install a French version of SQL Server? Or where does this French in the log files come from? Clutching at straws, I think that maybe there is a language mismatch.

There is a log file by the name sql_engine_core_inst_Cpu64_1.log, maybe it has some more infomation?
