How should I recover a lost account if I have not turned the backup on?

Recently I added an account to the Microsoft Authenticator app, and unfortunately I uninstalled the app by mistake, without turning on the backup feature. And when I re-installed the app, my account was removed. How do I recover my lost account?

Sounds like you'll need the account admins to reset the account so a new QR code can be generated with which you can relink the authentication device to your account.
