Hi;

I have a C# .net backend running on local using Entity Framework for Cosmos DB. A couple of days ago was working perfectly. Today is not achieving connection. It throws the below error

DocDBTrace Information: 0 : Azure Environment metadata information not available. A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Could you help? It makes all my project stop.

This looks like a network-related issue, how you are connecting your app can you share more information also check NAT rules on the firewall.

Could you be more specific?

I am connecting using entity framework with with Cosmos BD package. Using a normal windows 10 and running the code from Visual Studio 2022. 2 days ago was working well.

@Anastasio Del Toro Almansa got it, thanks for providing additional information, for this, I recommend raising a support case as we would need to investigate this from the back-end to see exactly which IP is being blocked or if its failing before it reaches Cosmos DB.

It is fixed now. Postman was being naughty. But have to say I still don’t understand why was throwing this error
