When a folder link is shared with me from within my company I cannot login to my account.

If someone in my company sends me a link to one of their folders, I can view it, but I cannot login to link it to my folders. If I try to login, I get the message that my account does not exist, despite already being logged in on the same browser in another tab.

I have only been using a local account on my laptop for work (as I already have my personal microsoft account linked to another user on this lap top), so maybe that is the issue. If I go to my lap top Settings > Accounts > Your Info and try to "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead" (next to the Local account option), I get the same message (my account doesn't exist).

Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?

    Hi,

    Based on your description, it seems you have no permission to use the laptop access the folder.

    I suggest you check if you need to join company domain and access the shared folder.
