How to view all Site Closure and Deletion Policies on SharePoint Server 2016

I have a SharePoint Server 2016 environment that contains a very large number of site collections and subsites, far too many to ever iterate through manually.

An unknown number of these sites appear to have Site Closure and Deletion settings that were set up a long time ago. I need to produce a report of all the sites and subsites in our SharePoint Server 2016 environment that shows which have Site Closure and Deletion policies set.

I am a novice SharePoint admin, and working with SharePoint Server is not one of my normal job functions. Is there any way to do this via the admin tools? Is there a PowerShell cmdlet for SharePoint Server that will report these settings for a site? My attempts to google this have been fruitless as I seem to only return guides on how to do this for SharePoint Online.

    Hi @Ross V

Per my research, there is no such powershell cmdlet to reach your requirement currently. We are unable to manage Site Closure and Deletion Policies by powershell. You could check the list of the method in SharePoint Server

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/sharepoint-server/set-spsite?view=sharepoint-server-ps

And I feel regretful to inform you that it turns out to be a by-design one. It is highly recommended that you can vote this ticket. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding.
