- Version of SP I am using: SharePoint in Microsoft 365
- Collecting data via a FORM and saving it to a list
- Per process we need to collect approval from a payroll team and that is happening via e-mail, once an e-mail is received, we need to mark the item completed. The problem is that we can not grant EDIT access to the user as it would allow to overwrite the fields in the list item that is already created and that is an issue for audit.
- Manually trigger - for 1 list item and not for all - the list item needs to be selected by the user which needs to be marked as completed
- I am not sure which column that is and why would a list item automatically be populated as completed - never heard of this before
