    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A, seems like you are looking for directions on installing Microsoft Purview scanner on an on-prem server.

    Please do correct me if this is not the case by responding in the comments section.

    As per Windows Server requirements 64 bit Windows Server 2022 is supported requirement.

    check the %temp% directory for errors following the installation.

    it may appear that the installation is successful but I've seen errors in the logs saying that it failed due to misssing patches.
