XamlC error XFC0000 : Cannot resolve type "StackLayout"

Hello Guys,

After migrating from Xamarin Forms to .NET Maui using .Net Upgrade Assistant, I am getting multiple errors (near about 300) of same type i.e XamlC error XFC0000 : Cannot resolve type "StackLayout". PFB screenshot. I have tried some solutions like changing the build action of xaml file from EmbeddedResource to MauiXaml but it did not work.

I know there is similar question available for this type of issue but those solutions are not working for me.

Please help me to get out of this issue.

Firstly, Please make sure you've updated all the XAML file namespaces to the new MAUI namespaces.

please close your VS and delete all of the bin and obj folders in your project folder. Then reopen your project by VS and build it, is that running normally?

If not, please add this snippet at the end of your .csproj file to check all dependencies for Xamarin.Forms.
