    Hi @Balubeto Balubeto

I believe you are trying to turn off the omnibox. I will write instructions below on how to turn this off.

    Open Microsoft Edge Beta.

In the top-right corner, click on the three horizontal dots to open the menu.

    From the menu, select "Settings."

In the Settings page, scroll down to the "On startup" section on the left sidebar.

Under "On startup," you'll see the option to "Open tabs from the previous session." By default, this option is set to "Open the new tab page." Click on the dropdown menu to change it to "Open a specific page or pages."

After selecting "Open a specific page or pages," you can click on "Add a new page" to specify the page that will open when you start Edge. You can set it to any webpage you prefer (e.g., a custom homepage or a blank page).

    Save your changes.

By setting a specific page to open on startup, you effectively prevent the search functionality in the address bar, as the address bar will no longer be used for search.

please mark it as answered if this has helped you.
