Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for guidance on managing (deploying/pushing) patches in Microsoft Intune, to various types of devices (Windows, Mac, Mobile, and IoT) programmatically using PowerShell. I'm interested in a more streamlined approach to automate these patch deployments across different platforms.

If anyone has experience in programmatically managing patches with Intune through PowerShell, I would greatly appreciate your guidance and expertise. Please share any stepwise documentation you know of, or if there are alternative methods to achieve this, I'd be interested in exploring those as well.

Additionally, if there are specific PowerShell cmdlets or APIs that can be used for this purpose, please suggest them, as it would be immensely helpful in my quest to efficiently manage patches in Intune.

Your expertise and insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Best regards,

Swahela Mulla

@Swahela Mulla, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Based on my researching, I didn't find any articles describe in programmatically managing patches with Intune through PowerShell, Meanwhile, PowerShell script is only for windows not for other platforms.

However, you can use Intune to deploy apps used by your organization, and some apps are automatically updated when there's an app update available.

If there's anything unclear, feel free to let us know.
