How to fix "Invitation redemption failed"

Hello,

I have invited a user from a federated organization. The user gets an error when trying to accept the invite. We have tried multiple browsers in regular and incognito modes. I have also reinvited the account multiple times.

User's organization/domain is configured as an identity provider to our Entra ID. I used SAML Idp functionality.

Where should I start my investigations?

    We resolved this. It turns out that Email claim was configured wrong. Value must be [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/emailaddress]

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A, from above description I could understand that you have tried to invite a B2B collaborate user in your Microsoft Entra ID however the user is not able to accept and get added to the tenant.

    Please do correct me if this is not the case by responding in the comments section.

    Based upon the error message end user is getting, you must follow Troubleshooting Microsoft Entra B2B collaboration.. However if the issue still persists then please share the error code along with the browser trace for deep dive into this.
