Can the Azure Connected Machine agent detect changes in Vm cores?

Scenario:

Azure ARC agent collects metadata from Virtual machines on premises. If the number of cores on a specific VM on prem is changed is this changed reflected automatically in azure ARC?

Otilia Zverchea Thanks for your question. The Hybrid Instance Metadata service (HIMDS) sends a heartbeat to Azure every 5 minutes. This heartbeat is used to indicate that the machine is still connected to Azure and to update the machine's status in the Azure portal. So, the metadata information is updated every 5 minutes.
