how do i open azure link in new window?

when i go to iam or any tab like that and try to open a user or something in new tab it doesnt work just goes to azure homepage. how can this be justified? what is the thought process when they designed this?
Ps: it wasnt easy and intuitive to find azure portal for tags, so i just put the first tag for azure

I see that you have tagged Azure data factory tag this question, but after reading the ask, I feel like it is not related to ADF and something related to Azure Portal. Could you please confirm the same which Azure product this ask is related to?
