In VS 2022, can't associate generic tests with manual tests

it is stated (FAQ part) that "Associating generic tests may work, but running these tests is not supported.", but I can't find how this can be done.
Is it really possible in 2022? If yes, can you please provide detailed instructions?

- What types of tests are you using, and what framework are they based on?
- Which step blocks you?
- Does VS prompt any error message?
- Could you share us the complete steps that you have done to associate the tests and the corresponding screenshots for further check?

Let me reformulate a bit the issue we faced.
We need to create GENERIC (not unit) test in VS 2022.
How this can be done?

The instructions are the same. They are listed in the link that you shared above.
It’s possible that in some situations associating generic tests doesn’t work. Could you please share us a sample generic test to reproduce this issue on our side and check further?
