Edge Group policy not working on Windows 11?

I have been using Group Policy to enable IE Mode and set the sites to open in IE Mode as per instructions here (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/edge-ie-mode)"learn.microsoft.com") - this has been working for some time until the past few days. All Windows 11 clients have ended up with the mandated sites not opening in IE Mode, despite the policies showing in Edge. Manual enablement of IE Mode in Edge still works - anyone else encountering this issue?

Which version of Edge do you use? Is there any error message?

Could you please export the detailed information to xml file from this page edge://compat/iediagnostic and provide the screenshot of this page edge://compat/enterprise?

No error message - sites just do not open in IE Mode. The location is accessible via SMB.

There's a red exclamation mark before "Force update". It means there's something wrong with the site list. Could you please hover on the red exclamation mark to check the error message? If you right click the location path and choose "Open link in new tab", can the xml file be opened in browser new tab? You can also click "Force update" to see if it works.

Besides, the location path format should be like below:

(Recommended) HTTPS location: https://iemode/sites.xml

Local network file: \\network\shares\sites.xml

Local file: file:///c:/Users/<user>/Documents/sites.xml
