Hello, I'm having an issue where a picture will load in the Word browser but not in the Word desktop app. I can see and move around the image in the browser and it saves just fine but only part of the image loads into the desktop app and then I can only move that small part. I have tried inserting the image into the desktop app but I have the same result, I have tried reloading many different times and same results, and even copying and pasting into the app with no luck. The picture was originally a png but I converted to to a jpg and that still didn't work. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

    Hi,

Could you provide a screenshot about the problem picture display in Word?

Did this problem appear in all picture file formats?

I suggest you try this method:

Go to File- Options- Advanced- Show document content- uncheck "Show picture placeholders":

    User's image

If a picture loads in the Word browser but not in the Word desktop app, try these steps: 1) Ensure the picture format is supported (e.g., JPEG, PNG). 2) Check the file path for any special characters or spaces. 3) Reinsert the picture in the desktop app. 4) Confirm your Word desktop app is updated. 5) If the issue persists, consider saving the picture in a different format or contacting Microsoft support for further assistance.
