Server 2022 RDS Searching file share

Hi, We are having an issue with a new setup. Just simple, an onprem 1 Server 2022 dc&fileserver & 1 Server 2022 remote destop session host. Normally on older Windows server versions when I type in the search box of the file explorer when searching on a network share it starts giving me results immediately. Only now nothing is happening till I press the enter key. Is it new normal behavior? Both servers have Windows search installed and on the file server the shares are added as indexed locations. Any idea?

Jean-Marc 0 Reputation points2023-12-29T10:45:43.2266667+00:00 Hi, We have the same problem here, on windows rds 2022, fast search work fine only with admin rdp session. But don't work with rds users sessions. They need to press enter to start search.
I can see the same problem on several windows 2022 server. On Windows 2019 instant search work for rds user
