Linking MSDN account to Learn profile for Q&A

I followed the instructions at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/support/msdn-technet-resources#how-to-award-your-msdn-and-technet-contributions-in-microsoft-learn and am unsure how to proceed. I can sign in to the MSDN forums using the same credentials that I use for signing in to Q&A. If I am already signed in to Q&A the MSDN sign in process notes that I already have a signed in account I can select it to complete the MSDN sign in. Upon doing so the process completes and my old MSDN profile is loaded.

So I am a bit confused by the Q&A instructions about adding another account to link MSDN to Q&A. There is no other account as far as I can tell.

Should I provide the credentials for my currently signed in Q&A account in response to the Add Account prompts?

If not, what steps should be taken?

    Hi @RLWA32 ,

Microsoft Certification / Exams is currently not supported in the Q&A forums.

Maybe one of the links is helpful:

Microsoft Training & Certification is supported on their own forums:

It's possible to ask questions by clicking on "Get Started" -> "Ask a Question" and Learn/Cert Moderators will help you.

    Microsoft Training Support Forum

    Microsoft Certification - Profile/MCID Assistance

    Microsoft Certification - Profile/Account Linking

    Pearson VUE Support:

    Pearson VUE - Customer Service

    Pearson VUE - Chat
