I have an Azure Windows 11 Pro 21H2 virtual machine, and I want to upgrade it to version 22H2. I tried using Windows 11 assistant to upgrade, which is working, but in the Azure portal, the image plan still shows the image as 21H2 Pro. I also tried checking the Windows update history, but I'm not finding any updates. Does anyone know the exact steps to upgrade the VM's operating system version?

Also, before making any significant changes, such as upgrading the OS version, take a snapshot or backup of your virtual machine. This ensures that you can revert to a known state in case of any issues.
Verify Data After Upgrade:
After the OS upgrade is complete and the virtual machine has been restarted, connect to the VM and verify that your data is still present on the attached disks. Check file systems, directories, and important files to ensure nothing has been inadvertently affected
