Shared calendars do not display in Outlook mobile app

User has an iphone with the outlook app. Go to add a shared calendar in outlook mobile, and it is checked that she already has it, but nothing displays. Uninstalled and reinstalled outlook, removed and added account, deleted shared calendar on desktop outlook, no change on phone.
